The relentless problem solver. The woman who wears many hats. Her motto? Deliver more than expected, faster than expected.

Born and raised on the east coast of China, she discovered her passion for math and business by watching her parents in action. Her mother worked at a bank and had a keen eye for investments, while her father—who was involved in government construction—regularly took her to visit job sites. Outside of work, her parents ran a food-focused night fair and an eco-friendly furniture painting shop, teaching her the value of working both smart and hard through their own example.

At the age of 18, she came to the States alone to study Applied Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating in three years with honors before pursuing her Master's degree in the same field at NYU.

In her penultimate semester, she was hired by Jefferies to join their fixed income trading floor, where she introduced quantitative analytics to a traditional trading approach. Her work spanned treasuries, swaps, and ETF businesses. Later, she joined Jump Trading to help launch their credit trading unit. Following a successful build-out, she transitioned to the firm's central division, where she architected and developed its first systematic financing function along with other tools to support capital decision-making.

After an exhilarating career in trading, she is now pursuing her passion for owning and operating a down-to-earth, impactful business. Jojo currently resides in Chicago with her husband, Max, and their two cats. Max was born and raised in Chicago and works at a locally headquartered hedge fund. With deep family roots in the area, she is focusing her search exclusively on the Chicagoland region.
